What a wonderful first day at Camp Funtastic 2025! We arrived this afternoon around 2:45, and before long, campers were settling into their cabins and beginning to explore camp life. Our veteran campers have welcomed our newest campers with open arms and everyone is getting along well. Dinner tonight was a family-style taco night, where laughter and second helpings flowed easily around the tables. Afterward, everyone hit the field for games that quickly broke the ice and got energy buzzing in all the right ways. We have quite a bit of real estate to ourselves this season, so campers were able to enjoy a wide variety of activities at once, which ranged from cartwheel competitions to a fierce 3-on-3 basketball team (where Miss Amanda had to show them a thing or two). 😄 Though the day started off hot and muggy, the weather has cooled beautifully.
