We are currently in the middle of Color War, the premier event here at Camp Funtastic. We’ve had a great week of activity and cabin bonding leading up to this day of non-stop games and competition.

It’s been awesome seeing great attitudes and sportsmanship from both our senior and junior campers. Counselors have been leading soccer competitions, basketball battles, and handball lessons all week.

We wrapped up our water programs yesterday with our third and final lake day after 2 days at the swimming pool and a thrilling ropes course and zip line run.
We were fortunate to only have 1 day of rain, so don’t be surprised if your camper returns with a tan (and a handful of bug bites). We’ve been keeping them well hydrated and providing sunscreen and bug spray as needed throughout the day.

After bringing everyone together last night for an all camp bonfire, it was hard to break them in to teams for the Color War this morning. But our Camper of the Week was an excellent cart guard and kept the camp spirit going, which is exactly why the counselors voted for him. Congrats, Gideon!
Here’s what’s left for your campers:
- Camp Awards
- Bingo
- Dinner
- Powder War
- Glow Dance
Then we pack our bags and prepare to say “see you next year!”
Expected bus arrival tomorrow is 1:45.
Please remember that we will need about 10 minutes to unload before we let any campers off the bus. Thank you!
